What is included in my daily fees?

Are taxidermy costs included in my trophy fees?
No, taxidermy charges, dipping, shipping, export and freight charges for shipping of trophies are not included in the trophy fees. We will however gladly arrange a visit to a reputable taxidermist before your departure to get an estimate of these costs.
What is the accommodation like?
Depending on the area we will be hunting, accommodation varies from well fitted camps or lodges to luxury guesthouses. All accommodation costs, while on safari, are included in the daily fees.
What type of rifle must I use?

What distances will we shoot?
Depending on the type of trophy we will hunt the general distances can vary between 50 to 300 yards.
Will there be a lot of walking?
It depends entirely on the type of hunt and the physical condition of the hunter. We do gladly accommodate elderly, disabled or frail persons – discuss your particular requirements with us.
Are we going to travel long distances?
The travel arrangements will depend on the type of trophy you hunt. All hunting packages are compiled to minimize travel between trophies. All traveling is by luxury 4×4 vehicle on mostly surfaced roads.
What will be my success rate be while hunting?
Depending on the type of animal required and the hunters shooting skill, it will generally be 100%.
What will our daily routine be like?
A typical hunting day starts with an early rise whilst enjoying coffee or tea and biscuits, followed by hunting up to about 11:00 am. This is followed by a full lunch and some rest. Hunting will commence in the afternoon again till just before dark followed by a scrumptious supper and some time around an open fire.
At what elevation will we hunt?
Plains game will be hunted at approximately 1500 – 1800 m above sea level.

Will we encounter poisonous snakes or other reptiles?
Depending on the hunting area and time of year we might encounter some snakes or reptiles. Your Professional hunter will generally try to avoid any contact at all but is trained and experienced in first aid for snake bites.
Will there be alcohol and drinking in hunting camps?
Alcohol will be available at all the camps and lodges we stay. Due to health risks we strongly advise against overindulgence whilst on safari.
